here are many types of laptop computer cases all in different shapes and sizes. My favorite would be the briefcase model. The reason being that it is a lightweight and strong case and I found a moulded resin case that weighed less than two pounds and when I put in my laptop, charger and some other accessories it weighed less than ten pounds. If you travel to work by any other means than car or bus (train, walking) then you should know that the maximum amount of weight your wrist would be able to take is ten pounds and if you go over that limit with journeys that go over the half an hour mark your wrists will become soar. My briefcase doesn't just hold my laptop, but it can be a support for my notebook and at times serve as a plate for my breakfast. However, for those that are just looking for cases that can be used at home then you will probably have different requirements.

Laptop cases aren't just made in multiple shapes and sizes just to look pretty, they are designed like this for people's different needs. For example, cases with wheels may be great for those who travel a lot. These are great as they make sure that you aren't carrying the whole weight of the laptop and if you have a briefcase style there is no doubt that your shoulders (or even your fingers if you decide to hold it that way) will soon start to hurt. A case with wheels will by no doubt make things a lot easier for you as you won't have to deal with that extra weight alone.

Your laptop weight can also affect the case you should look into. Some people have the luxury of buying the slimmer and lighter laptops, but there are some people who have the multimedia notebooks that can weigh more than 10 pounds with the accessories and then the weight of the bag added onto that could cause a big total in weight. Weight should be at the top of your list of things to consider. No one should try struggling with fifteen pounds, your shoulders and neck will start to get stiff and it will most likely become painful. No matter how nice the case looks leave it alone if it is too heavy.
